Lor Mee is a popular dish that you can find at Tiong Bahru Food Centre. This flavorful Singaporean dish consists of thick, flat yellow noodles served in a starchy gravy, often made from a combination of corn starch and broth. It is typically accompanied by various toppings and condiments.
At Tiong Bahru Food Centre, there are two well-known stalls that serve Lor Mee: Tiong Bahru Lor Mee and 178 Lor Mee. However, we decided to give 178 Lor Mee a try.
Hearty bowl of Lor Mee filled with a variety of toppings such as braised pork, braised eggs, sliced fish cake, and fried fish nuggets and is usually garnished with crispy bits of fried shallots and chopped spring onions, adding an extra layer of flavor and texture.

This stall offers a variety of roasted dishes such as roasted pork, chicken, duck and char siew. We picked up the roasted duck and pork with rice. However you could try their wonton noodles as well. It is delicious.
We waited for nearly 15 mins on a weekend grab our share of roasted pork with char siew +rice.
